It signals life and vitality—blood, lust, celebration—and at the same time warning, temptation, and the thrill of crossing a line. Red is the color of rebellion and surrender, of flushed skin and pounding hearts. It can be luxurious and seductive, or loud and alarming. It is the hue of courage and confidence, but also of exposure and vulnerability. Red ignites, provokes, teases, protects, seduces, threatens, and celebrates—always boldly, never quietly. Enter the Red Light Zone. Your interpretation is your journey. ✦•···················•✦ Why Red Light? Why Tisco? Tisco is a combination between the words Techno and Disco— combining contemporary Berlin club-culture with retro discotheque vibes. In the real world, the combination of red and light is often reduced to the idea of a “red-light district” — a narrative shaped around cis men shopping for sex. As always in our events, our intention is to turn the world upside down. Inside the Tisco, we build a dreamworld — one that could not be further from the realities and power dynamics we know outside. Expect immersive performances, extravagant outfits, and a club bathed in red light. Es steht für Liebe, Leidenschaft, Wärme und Verlangen – eine Hitze, die einen in ihren Bann zieht –, aber auch für Wut, Gefahr und Aggression. Es symbolisiert Leben und Vitalität – Blut, Lust, Feierlichkeit – und gleichzeitig Warnung, Versuchung und den Nervenkitzel, eine Grenze zu überschreiten. Rot ist die Farbe der Rebellion und der Hingabe, der geröteten Haut und des pochenden Herzens. Es kann luxuriös und verführerisch oder laut und alarmierend sein. Es ist die Farbe des Mutes und des Selbstbewusstseins, aber auch der Entblößung und Verletzlichkeit. Rot entflammt, provoziert, neckt, schützt, verführt, bedroht und feiert – immer kühn, niemals leise. Betritt die Red Light Zone. Warum „Tisco“? „Tisco“ ist eine Wortkombination aus „Techno“ und „Disco“ – eine Mischung aus zeitgenössischer Berliner Clubkultur und Retro-Disco-Flair. In der echten Welt wird die Kombination aus „rot“ und „Licht“ oft auf die Idee eines „Rotlichtviertels“ reduziert – eine Erzählung, die sich um cis-Männer dreht, die Sex kaufen. Wie immer bei unseren Events wollen wir die Welt auf den Kopf stellen. In der Tisco bauen wir eine Traumwelt auf – eine Welt, die nicht weiter von der Realität und den Machtverhältnissen entfernt sein könnte, die wir draußen kennen. Freut euch auf mitreißende Performances, extravagante Outfits und einen Club, der in rotes Licht getaucht ist.
