Come and dance at this party with a clear conscience. ARRIVE EARLY, LEAVE LATE! This party is a fundraiser in aid of the shepherds in the Jordan Valley in Palestine. The proceeds will go towards rebuilding homes, buying feed for the sheep, legal battles, supplying the farms with fresh water, and much more. The Jordan Valley is a community that is often overlooked when people talk about Palestine. This area was once known for its vibrant community of farmers, Bedouins and shepherds. However, due to the occupation and attacks by settlers, it is slowly being depopulated. We will dance for them and celebrate their rich traditions, their connection to the land, and the fact that they are resisting for as long as they can.
