Presenting Duplokit’s Warpdrive Tour - The Berlin Edition. Supported by deviate and powered by Drums@Work. Hailing from Aotearoa, New Zealand, Duplokit unites James Meharry (Christchurch jungle & drum & bass underground) and Mike Hodgson (Pitch Black). Their unique live show utilises lathe cut vinyl with looped groove manipulations, on a custom built, multiple tonearm system developed by James, and combined with live electronic jams and dub processes crafted by Mike. They don’t stop there, the show will also combine immersive visuals, creating a real-time audio-visual artwork. Support comes from Wellington-based DJ/producer Range, and solo performances from Mike and James under their alternative aliases, Misled Convoy and Pylonz. Representing the Berlin bass family are Electro Magnetic Goldstar (EMG), HiFillab from Hityawiththat crew, deviate’s Sammy B & Schique, and Dub Isotope from Drums@Work. Free Entry: We will be collecting donations to support the NZ artist’s travel costs and the d@w sound transportation expenses. Whatever you can afford to contribute will be greatly appreciated.
