Across East and Southeast Asian cultures, weddings are highly codified rituals that serve not only to bind two individuals, but to align them within a broader network of familial, spiritual, and social obligations through performance and display. ๐๐ธ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ต๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฎ takes this as a social script open to queer interruption, play and reassembly: with two days in August and a special club night in September, the festival brings together artists, audiences, and strangers as temporary kinโbeyond blood, legality, or traditionโto perform collective care and rehearse new configurations of intimacy, belonging, and communal life.
