Next Saturday, August 29, RUTA takes over Giri for a fundraiser in solidarity with those affected by the earthquake in Colombia. Friends and colleagues of the label join the lineup: gugol maps, Retter, sin serif, Triana, F&L Associates, and Juana Valeria, bringing club tools, broken rhythms, and bass music from 6pm to midnight. Entry is donation based, and 100% of proceeds go directly to relief efforts in the Pacific, specifically Chocó and Buenaventura, through Manos Visibles, a Colombian organization that's spent over 16 years working with nearly 300 local groups across the region and is now coordinating housing repair, mental health support, and aid for the families affected.
