This September, SWIRL curator and host Tempestfeather invites Riin to YSY for a genre-fluid journey spanning breaks, electro, bass, house, techno, and beyond. From 22:30, YSY transforms into a club night powered by its custom-built sound system. We’ll get things started with solo sets before bringing the night to a close with a B2B. Berlin-based, Tallinn-born DJ and radio host Riin is part of the local Soilseeek collective, where she co-organizes music events. With a wide-ranging approach to selection, her sets weave together percussive rhythms, psychedelic textures, and sounds that blur the boundaries between genres. Tempestfeather is a Berlin-based DJ, writer, and radio host at Refuge Worldwide. Her sound was conceived in Cairo, shaped in London, and refined in Berlin. A former member of the bass collective Green Room, she draws from disparate influences to build groove-led, forward-looking sets. SWIRL is an eclectic event series built around musical dialogue, where each session is shaped by the chemistry between DJs and the energy of the dancefloor. See you at the dance!
